We undertake 3 main types of surveys:
1. Home Report
We are regulary entrusted to carry out the Specialist Timber and Damp reports for home owners as part of the Home Report. This survey is usually instructed by the home owner and/ or their solicitor. We would be looking to access loft spaces and under floors/basements to identify any defects that would have an adverse affect on the property sale. Cost: From £45.00 plus VAT
2. Pre-purchase
This survey is instructed by a solicitor prior to you offering on a property. We are regularly entrusted to carry out the Specialist Timber and Damp reports for home Buyers. This survey is usually instructed by your solicitor prior to you offering on a property. We would be looking to access loft spaces and under floors/basements to identify any defects that would adversely affect any offer made on the property. Cost: From £45.00 plus VAT
3. Homeowner
If the home owner is unfortunate enough to recognize they have a building problem, then they can instruct us to investigate and advise on any course of action required. This could range from a burst pipe, leaking shower/bath, roof leaks, damp walls, mould, to wet and dry rot in floors/windows. Cost: FREE
